Nope.Big ol' STEAMing NOPE.This app was absolutely useless. It LOOKS the part, sure. However if it talks the talk it better walk the walk.. and sadly this app is a quadraplegic horse upside down on the planet Mars, without oxygen, rolling down a hill backwards. That useless.After seeing the plethora of bad reviews I just went ahead and downloaded the software, the good ol' 'It won't FUBAR my rig, my rig is different..' - yeah.. NOPE.Now obviously I did not do this on my daily computer. Are you mad?I tried out Driver Booster 4 on the following setup, to see if I could catch it out..> Windows 10 PC, fresh install with auto-updates from Windows enabled.- Found 62 drivers (OK) and downloaded and installed.. great.> Went to the vendor for each item that Driver Booster found- 21 drivers were more up to date from the vendor directly. Some by 2-3 months (WOW)- Still, 41 out of 62 isn't bad I suppose.- Except the missing drivers were: GPU, Sound card, Bluetooth, Intel Chipset, NVMe PCI-E 480GB (several drivers for each, sata, chipset, gpu driver, nvidia stuff, etc)> Attempted this all over again on a different computer with every driver sourced direct from vendor, absolutely up-to-date without exception (Took 2 hours to locate every single driver) - All from the hardware vendor directly without exception.- Driver Booster 4 found 12 drivers out of date. Yup, 12.- So.. I left it to update, reboot, and... it had downgraded 12 items on my computer. The drivers were older than previous.Ermm... why does this app exist?Final conclusion - Go find the drivers yourself. It takes longer but you're not gonna end up with some rubbish app that makes you think it's the only app you'll need for drivers.It rolled back newer drivers. That's insane.I totally agree with the majority of the negative reviews. AVOID. THIS. APP.Oh and why are the minimum specs listing 500MB storage required, yet recommended asks for 10MB?. Nice ,,boost" :D. It used to be good before the recent update released. It bricked my drivers twice and after installing them manually everything worked perfectly fine. Get this its works. Works as advertised. It found 15 drivers on my desktop and 13 on my laptop that were out of date. The program is easy to use and I have not had any issues with this software crashing my system on both of my computers which I had this installed.. does what it says on the tin. nothing more, nothing less
